Study Programme

In the first three years of the study, all students will do their courses in English at their Indian University.
During that time the Indian Universities are responsible for the courses of study.
During that time all Indian students must attend German classes of 800 hours starting from the first semester. All students must pass the exam of TestDaF level 4 by the end of the third year in order to continue the study in Germany.  For further information about the German language test please contact the website of the Goethe-Institute in India.

In the sixth semester the students will have one or two subject specific courses in German which will be taught by German guest lecturers. Those courses will either be block courses or will be taught as online tutorials. In the fourth year the students will continue their study at one of the German IGCHE Universities. During that time, the students will take part in the regular study program which is taught in German.

In addition each student will do an internship in a German company for one semester. If possible, the students will write the Thesis in cooperation with the German company. After completion of the study each student will receive a certified Bachelor degree in Engineering from the respective German University.
